Memsource Editor for Desktop Releases 2020

Newlines are being identified incorrectly causing a QA tags/formatting error. This has been fixed.

Automatic wildcard search has been disabled and wildcards are limited to 5 * and 10 ? in search queries in order to reduce errors.

The height of the Diff section can now be changed.

The CAT pane isn't closing when the application is closed. This has been fixed.

Version information incorrectly translated in Japanese. This has been fixed.

Case sensitive regexp [A-Z] does not function correctly. This has been fixed.

Filtering for comments doesn't work with date range applied. This has been fixed.

Jobs with locked unconfirmed segments cannot be set to completed using the Complete button. This has been fixed.

Superscript/subscript is not propagated in repetitions but changed to normal text. This has been fixed.

Formatting not propagated to repetitions upon confirmation. This has been fixed.

QA checks are now thematically grouped and ordered alphabetically to give users better overview and control in the partial QA panel.

A context menu is available in the in-context preview allowing the opening of links in a browser.

Matches inserted from More or Changes pane would not automatically replace the target text. This has been fixed.

Entering an apostrophe in the Find&Replace field crashes the application. This has been fixed.

The Diff section in the Changes pane could be contracted not allowing visibility of changes made. This has been fixed.

Resulting text from the CAT, Search, Changes, and More tabs can now be selected and copied to the clipboard.

Inserting TM, NT, MT matches (by double-click or shortcut), replaces the already populated text without it being necessary to delete the text.

The QA pane was disappearing for some users when separated from the main window. This has been fixed.

In-context Preview for RTL was displaying the wrong order of segments. This has been fixed.

OSX – Double clicking does not select the word in the target. This has been fixed.

When Guests are not allowed see provider names, only provider IDs numbers are visible to the Guest in the editor.

No match filtering option has been added in Pretranslated from, allowing filtering the segments not pre-translated using any match and translated from scratch.

This release includes general optimization improvements.

If pre-translated content doesn't fit into a target segment, the segment won't expand until it is confirmed. This has been fixed.

Job status can now be changed from inside the editor using the Accept or Complete buttons or under the document menu.

All editions with the workflow feature including the Team edition now have the reject jobs functionality.

When a character is entered in the Find field, the cursor jumps to the active segment. This has been fixed.

CTRL+F / CTRL+H is not causing the cursor to jump to the Find field as expected. This has been fixed.

SSO feature, which redirects the user to the SSO website to log in, is now supported.

The sentence-case style capitalization is used for UI strings.

Keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+K and Ctrl+Shift+K didn't work as expected in a job that was opened in the read-only mode. This has been fixed.

When pressing CTRL+K while in the target segment, direction of the concordance started with source language. This has been fixed.

Linguists were not able to use the filtering feature via Ctrl+Shift+F in a job that was opened in the read-only mode. This has been fixed.

When clicking into unfocused segment which was covered by either the bottom or upper panel, the segment was not scrolled to the center of the table. This has been fixed.

The Changes tab in the CAT pane didn't display changes as expected while switching between the Editor and other apps. This has been fixed.

Recently used symbols were cleared when the Memsource Editor for Desktop was updated to a new version. This has been fixed.

Auto-complete didn't work in case the filter for 1st repetition was enabled. This has been fixed.

Symbols in the username are removed from the username and propagated to the server address when logging in. This has been fixed.

Segments and Comments can now be filtered by Created by and Last Modified by dates.

A new version of the Memsource Editor for Desktop has been released with general stability improvements.

Every segment with the same source was considered a repetition regardless of the Context key (if the job was imported with Context key). This has been fixed and only segments with the same source text and the same Context key are marked as repetition in the Editor.

Instant QA and Auto-complete items are now available in the Tools menu.

The first instance of a repetition is now specifically identified.

The section Created By / Modified By / Show Changes has been divided into three sections providing better control of filtering options.

Use of Ctrl+Shift+Up/Down Arrow did not select text as expected. This has been fixed.

Text could not be selected from the Preview pane for copying elsewhere. This has been fixed.

Confirming segments in workflow steps did not affect the Word Count Status Bar. This has been fixed.
