Current behavior: It is not possible to remove panes completely
Available workaround: Panes in the editor can be moved outside the main window to give more visibility, however they still occupy some space.
Requested behavior: It is possible to remove panes completely OR move (drag & drop) them, so they occupy the minimum portion of the screen (i.e. less than now).
