If multiple terms need to be added, they must be added one at a time or if many are required, the term base can be modified externally. If term endings are complex, be aware of how term morphology is handled.
Concept groups include a source term with its translations and synonyms.
To create or add a new concept group for a source term as a PM, follow these steps:

From a term base page, click New concept group.
The new term pane opens with empty fields for all languages in the term base.

Fill in terms for each language.

Click Add.
The new concept group is added to the term base.
Additional terms (e.g. synonyms) for each language level can be added to existing concept groups. Hover next to the desired language of the concept group in the term base page and click the plus icon to add new terms.
To create a new concept group for a source term as a Linguist, follow these steps:

From the editor, click
, or under the menu, click Add term (ALT+T).
The pane opens at the bottom of the editor.

New terms can be added from the editor only if the term base is assigned to the project in mode.

If multiple terms are similar, one can be marked as Preferred. The preferred synonym will be displayed above the others in the editor's CAT pane. Otherwise, synonyms are listed in alphabetical order.

When a term is marked Forbidden, Linguists are informed not to use it. A QA check displays a warning if this term is used in the target.

Click Add.
The new concept group is added to the term base.
New terms added by a Linguist with standard user rights will have the status New and are indicated in the editor by a light grey TB text. New terms added by a Linguist with rights to edit all terms in a TB will have the status Approved.
