Providing metadata to a project helps with management of projects by assigning them business values (client, domain, subdomain, cost center, business unit, note, purchase order#). Access to particular metadata is based on roles and permissions; administrators have access to all metadata, projects managers and others are dependent on access they have been given.
To create values for metadata, follow these steps:

From the
page, scroll down to the section and select a metadata type.
The page for the metadata type opens.

Click Add metadata type.
The page opens.

Add a value and click Save.
The value is added to the metadata type and is available for selection when creating a project. A UID reference with a button to copy it to the clipboard is provided.
