A visual builder is provided for creating and saving custom XML import settings. The builder doesn't connect to connectors so all files need to be uploaded from a local drive to build the profile. If an .XML from a 3rd party connector is exported and uploaded to create an XML profile, it may be used for creating jobs.

Due to continuous improvements, the user interface may not be exactly the same as presented in the video.
Multiple files (10) can be uploaded at a time. When saving a profile where multiple files were used, specify which file to save together with the profile.
To create an XML profile, follow these steps:

From the Settings
page, scroll down to the section and click on XML profiles.
The
page opens. -
Click New profile.
The
page opens. -
Click Upload and provide .XML, .DTD or .XSD files from a local drive.
The .XML file is rendered in and presented in the
tab. From his view, the file can be searched and filtered.

Check which parts of the .XML file are required for import.

If additional import settings are required, click the settings button
to open the .
Import settings can be hidden if not required or already applied by clicking the Hide button.

Specify a context key that is saved with the segment to the translation memory and used for match context.

Import elements or context attributes for each element.

Import elements or the maximum target length for each element

ICU messages are automatically converted to tags. Files with ICU messages cannot contain any inline elements.

XML entities in DTD Declaration will be imported for translation.

Deselect if segmentation is not desired.

Comments are not imported if elements are processed as HTML as indicated in the Elements (processed as HTML) option.

Apply regular expressions to convert specified text to tags.

Enter a list of character references (separated by commas) into the output file.
