HubSpot connector allows the downloading of source content and uploading of translations to/from HubSpot Marketing Hub for the following content types:

  • Website pages

  • Landing pages

  • Themes

  • Blog posts

  • Emails

  • Forms (only Embedded and Standalone page forms are supported due to API limitations)

  • Files

Note

zh_hans_cn and zh_hant_tw language codes are not supported by HubSpot and are mapped to zh-Hans and zh-Hant, respectively.

Use Cases

There are a number of use cases for the connector:

  • Project managers can add files directly to projects from an online repository. Only documents that match the connector's source language or don't have any language set are listed.

  • Set up the submitter portal allowing Submitters to add files to requests directly from the online repository. Only documents that match the connector's source language or don't have any language set are listed.

  • Use automated project creation (APC) to have new projects automatically created when a change in the last modified date is detected for monitored files or a folder.

    • Selected files are imported the very first time APC runs.

HubSpot Settings

No changes are required.

Phrase TMS Settings

Important

If accessing from a custom domain (ex. mydomain.phrase.jp), open an incognito browser window and log in via cloud.memsource.com or us.cloud.memsource.com to apply the authentication required for the creation or saving of the connector. After saving, the connector can be accessed via the custom domain.

  1. From the Settings Setup_gear.png page, scroll down to the Integrations section.

  2. Click on Connectors.

    The Connectors page opens.

  3. Click New.

    The Create page opens.

  4. Click Connect to HubSpot.

    HubSpot login page opens.

  5. Log in to HubSpot and select an account.

    Note

Login via Google or Microsoft is not supported.

A checkmark will appear in the connector setup if the connection was successful. A red exclamation point will appear if it wasn't. Hover over the icon to see additional details.

  6. Choose how the target files are to be organized in HubSpot:

    • As multi-language groups - the translated pages are linked to the master page and form a language group. This option is supported for only Landing and Website pages. For more information, see HubSpot documentation.

    • As separate documents - the translated pages are stored as siblings. Language code appended to their internal page name differentiates the individual translations (e.g., Homepage vs. Homepage [de]).

  7. Select publication status of translations.

  8. Set the Source language.

    • This language must match the Source language of the project and should match the Primary language of the HubSpot site that's configured in HubSpot Domains & URLs settings.

  9. Click Save.

The connector is added to the list on the Connectors page.
