Segments repeated within a job are labelled as repetitions. The first instance of a repetition is identified with a heavy arrow and subsequent repetitions with a lighter arrow .
Segments with Plural form are not considered repetitions.
If the Set segment status to confirmed for Repetitions is enabled, the translation of a repeated segment is automatically propagated to all subsequent repetitions. When a linguist confirms a segment that is repeated later in the document, all repetitions of that segment are confirmed.
Clicking on the repetition icon crosses out the arrow to indicate an exception from the repetition. This allows the instance to have a different translation. If auto-propagation of repetitions is disabled, the first repetition exception is identified with greyed out arrows.
When flagging an LQA issue in a repetition, there must be a decision on how other instances of the repetition will be flagged. Select an option from the dropdown menu.
To disable/enable the auto-propagation of repetitions, follow these steps:
From the Settings page, scroll down to the section and click on Pre-translation.
The Pre-translation page opens.
From thepage, open the menu.
Click the radio button for.
Settings are saved and repetitions are identified in the CAT editor with greyed out and arrows.
After the first repetition is confirmed, segments with subsequent repetitions are auto-propagated and locked so as to be uneditable by Linguists.
