To access options for managing security environment and data access, follow these steps:

From the Settings
page, scroll down to the section and click on Access and security.
The page opens.

When disabled, all names are replaced with the user id and organization name.

Allow the use of Vendors that facilitate the sharing and collaboration of files across organizations.

Phrase technical support has access to your profile to help resolve technical issues.

Linguist profiles are automatically deactivated if there are no jobs in progress. As soon as a new job is assigned, profiles are automatically reactivated. Only deactivated linguist profiles with source and target languages matching a specific job are offered and can be assigned to that job.

Users or vendors assigned to the project will receive notifications concerning assigned work, status changes comments or LQA mentions, newly added reference materials, and other project updates. If not selected, no notifications are sent.
Does not override settings when creating a job.

Notifications are triggered to the selected user group only when a new reference is added manually to a project. Notifications are not sent for references added from project templates, automated imports or updates, or deletions.
A dedicated email template can be selected for this notification.
Projects with many assigned users or vendors may send notifications to a large audience.

Set or ranges (Business and Enterprise editions only)
If specified, users are not able to log in from other addresses. Select to set access options based on user roles. Ranges are specified with a CIDR suffix.

Linguists (including Vendor's Linguists) may download bilingual content for translation outside of Phrase. Bilingual MXLIFF files, bilingual DOCX files, and TMX files may be downloaded for translation in the CAT desktop editor or other external editor.
This setting applies to both shared projects and jobs. If disabled, Vendor project managers or administrators can still download and manage the job.

Project managers can control in which environments Linguists (including Vendor's Linguists) may work. With this box checked, translators can click on file names and open them in the CAT web editor.

Linguists and Vendors may see the names of others who translated identified TM matches. Deselect this option to ensure anonymity, privacy and prevent providers from seeing each other's names.
This option must be enabled for mentions to work correctly in the CAT editor.

Restrict or allow translators and reviewers to work simultaneously on one job in multiple workflow steps or not until the job is set to Complete.

Linguists are permitted to edit locked segments by clicking F2.

Linguists are permitted to edit source texts including the splitting and joining of segments.
