v23.10 - May 30, 2023

New Features and Improvements

  • Refreshed APC Overview Page, with updated batch actions (trigger monitor, force import, delete) and new filter functionality. Customers will be able to filter their APCs by status, type, APC version, last triggered and next scheduled trigger. Customers will be able to see projects associated with a given APC.


Fixed Bugs

  • The plus icon Add_TM.png for creating Projects, TMs, TBs is not working properly. This has been fixed.

  • The Lang column is exported as an empty string when creating users.csv files. This has been fixed.

  • m:created-at and m:created-by metadata is empty for segments translated offline with bilingual .MXLIFF. This has been fixed.

  • Spellcheck not working for words followed by /. This has been fixed.

  • When using both regular expressions and the HTML subfilter on .PO files, the completed target files are corrupted or the specified content was not converted to tags in the editor. This has been fixed.

v23.9 - May 16, 2023

New Features and Improvements

  • The legacy analytics reports, dashboards and Kibana will be deprecated as of May 15, 2023. New dashboards have been released and are accessible in Phrase Analytics.

  • New language pairs (En <> Simplified Chinese) will be added to Phrase NextMT. Available from May 24th.

  • Analytics: New tables are now added in Advanced Analytics, consisting of quotes, cost, savings, and leverage data. Available from May 24th.

Fixed Bugs

  • A vendor was able to see all project target languages when filtering jobs by target language instead of those that were shared with vendor only. This has been fixed.

  • A specific due time of a job due the following year was not displayed in the tooltip with the due date in jobs view. This has been fixed.

  • The pop-up field for Filtering for references shows up at the top of the screen. This has been fixed.

  • Clicking the Keep subscription button didn't always reactivate the subscription (the button was still displayed and the subscription was not reactivated). This has been fixed.

Fixed Bugs

  • Some non-translatable inline elements escaped some closing tags. This has been fixed.

  • Searching for project names in the archive did not work. This has been fixed.

  • Reference file upload failed when the Note field contained non-English characters. This has been fixed.

  • The German de spellchecker detected parts of the words as issues and these words were then incorrectly replaced when adding spellchecker suggestions. This has been fixed.

New Features and Improvements

  • Created by filter is now available in the project list.

  • Phrase TMS CLDR support has been updated to v42. See the CLDR 42 release note for more information.

  • Existing Phrase Translate graphs will be moved to a new dedicated tab, which will now include several new graphs. These show data on the usage of engines, MT Glossaries, and MT Profiles for users with editions that support these features. Additionally, the MT character consumption logic will be updated, to include characters that were translated using the MT cache, or those that results in an error.


Fixed Bugs

  • Submitter portal page continuously refreshes if a portal has been moved to the recycle bin. This has been fixed.

  • The obvious best match from TB was not suggested in the CAT pane. This has been fixed with an improvement to the matching algorithm.

New Features and Improvements

  • MT engine SDL BeGlobal was renamed to Language Weaver and specific endpoints for EU and US data centers were added.

Available from March 1, 2023:

  • Internal fuzzies can now be included in job analyses and net rate schemes as a separate category.

  • TM algorithm now aligns segment and project metadata to ensure the best possible match. Project metadata (client, domain, subdomain, filename) stored on segment-level can be prioritized in the TM match context and optimization settings.

  • Phrase Analytics:

    • Advanced Analytics, a new add-on plan of Phrase Analytics, is now available to create customizable analytics reports and dashboards based on additional data points.

    • Standard Analytics:

      • New charts have been added showing the total number of jobs in each status for the Time dashboard, and word count by project owners in the Volume dashboard.

      • Dashboards can now be filtered by job Archived state and project owner.

      • Filter by workflow step status has been added to the Time dashboard.

      • Data availability is now limited to the past 12 months.

Fixed Bugs

  • It was not possible to display more than 50 custom fields in the UI. This has been fixed.

  • When filtering for job status in the project page, the filtered status was not displayed. This has been fixed.

New Features and Improvements

  • Tooltips in subscription pages have been updated to include information about billing amounts and credits.

  • The inner ID has been appended to the Project name in the jobs page. This helps distinguish between projects with the same name. The inner ID can also be used in searches.


Fixed Bugs

  • When a provider was assigned in multiple workflow steps of a project and the {} macro was used in the subject of an email template, only the first workflow step was mentioned. This has been fixed (other steps are mentioned as well).

  • Correctly spelled words were detected as spelling issues in Croatian. This has been fixed.

  • Update target button seemed to be unavailable (greyed out) but functioned. This has been fixed - when available, the button is not greyed out.

  • Currency and billing unit values were lost when going back from step 2 to step 1 during quote creation. This has been fixed.

  • In analyses run on more than 100k segments, there were some discrepancies between the total word count and the sum of word counts from individual categories. This has been fixed.

  • Import of .XML files fails and displays the INVALID_REQUEST: Server returned HTTP response code: 429 for URL: error. This has been fixed.

  • Correctly spelled ZH term LabVIEW was flagged as forbidden, because case sensitivity was not supported in Asian languages. This has been fixed.

v23.2 - February 7, 2023

New Features and Improvements

  • New IS operator was added to Search for content functionality. This operator looks for content that exactly matches whole segments, e.g. if searching for I bought a car, I bought a car is presented, but not I bought a car yesterday.

  • New option Plus_Add.png was added in the left pane to speed up creation of new projects, translation memories, term bases or users. The icon appears when hovering over Projects, Translation memories, Term bases and Users.

  • Multiple reference files can now be uploaded at once.

  • Any outstanding credits will now be calculated in next billing amounts.

Fixed Bugs

  • Webhooks were being triggered before a project was submitted via the Submitter portal. This has been fixed.

  • Ampersands & are converted to entities &amp; in the search filter for jobs, so jobs with & in the filename were not found. This has been fixed.

  • When sharing a project, Vendor was able to select a Buyer's analysis when creating the quote (but could not proceed). This has been fixed. Vendors can no longer select Buyer's analysis (and vice versa - Buyer cannot select Vendor's analysis).

  • Assigned jobs could not be deleted from within a project. This has been fixed.

New Features and Improvements

  • APC V2:

    • Ability to select a subset of target languages from a Project template.

    • Ability to configure automation for Source update within a Continuous project. e.g. to select which workflow step and later should be reopened.


Fixed Bugs

  • A newly created admin user cannot see data on the Analytics dashboard. This has been fixed for newly created admins but existing admins that do not see data in the dashboards need to have their profiles re-saved before data is visible.

New Features and Improvements

  • Some UI changes to improve user experience were performed on the subscription page / upgrade flow.

Fixed Bugs

  • Subsequent repetitions are deleted after an import of bilingual .DOCX when the first repetition is locked. This has been fixed.

  • Uploading a bilingual .DOCX with extra empty columns resulted in replacing the source text with the target text. This has been fixed.

  • Upon import of a bilingual .DOCX file back to a project, segments with line breaks were unconfirmed even if there was no change in them. This has been fixed.

  • When setting up a customized view on some pages (TM and TB) using a gear icon, the Apply button to confirm changes was not visible. This has been fixed.

  • Even though all jobs were completed in a project, the project dashboard did not indicate Overall progress 100%. This has been fixed.
