v24.6 - April 2, 2024

New Features and Improvements

  • Source path can now be added as a column in projects for jobs created from a connector. It can also be used as a filter to find jobs belonging to a specific folder.

  • Two new fields are now available in the JOB_PART_ASSIGNMENT_V2 table of Phrase Data.

    Field Name

    Description

    job_part_status_order

Indicates the status of the job part in a numerical form. The numbers follow an order sequence from 1 to 8.

    is_historical

A boolean that indicates whether the record refers to an assignment which doesn’t exist anymore in TMS

  • The text result showing in the Quote ownership field found in the Cost dashboard and table has been changed as follows:

    • from own quote to own content

    • from shared quote to shared content

  • Two new fields have been added to the Advanced Analytics tables.

    Field Name

    Description

    Added in Table Name

    project date created

The date when a project was created

    Job_Detail

    job_internal_id

The # number that is displayed in the TMS UI next to the row items for jobs in a project.

    Job_Detail and Analysis_Detail

Fixed Bugs

  • Only 50 APCs could be listed. This has been fixed.

  • The To recipient disappeared from LQA scores. This has been fixed.

  • Invitations for existing identity is failing because of email comparison is case sensitive (no longer case sensitive). This has been fixed.

  • Validation emails have an expired token when sent again during sign up. This has been fixed.

  • The Severity filter has been removed from the Quality dashboard as this field does not work correctly in the way the data is structured within the dashboard.

v24.5 - March 19, 2024

New Features and Improvements

  • A provider can now only access TM/TB when a project is in Accepted status.

  • There are new APC statuses with actionable error messaging. This helps facilitate APC maintenance and makes troubleshooting easier. These statuses are not supported for legacy APCs.

    APC_Statuses.png
    APC_Status_Action.png
  • With Selective Force Import, users are able to choose which files to import instead of automatically importing all files from the remote entities monitored by the APC. The old Force Import functionality has not been removed: users can choose between the regular and selective force import. Selective Force Import is not supported for legacy APCs.

  • Phrase Portal is now available and serves as a customizable MT interface accessible to users across varying levels of localization proficiency to translate documents or shorter texts in a secure organization environment.

  • New language pairs have been added to NextMT.

  • Administrators and project managers (who are TM owners) can now share TMs and give linguists within an organization the right to amend translation memory content to help improve TM quality.

  • Phrase Analytics:

    • Shared projects and jobs are now factored in the Leverage dashboard and table, as well as the Analysis Detail table.

    • The text result showing in the Quote ownership field found in the Quote, Savings dashboards and tables has been changed as follows:

      • own quote to own content

      • shared quote to shared content

    • The latest_analysis field in Analysis_Detail table marks the latest run analysis on one job. This means that if there is more than one job in a project, the lastest_analysis takes the analysis generated per job. This field now also factors in shared projects and jobs.

      Examples:

      • For a shared project, where the buyer creates an analysis for a job, both buyer and vendor will see the latest_analysis field as TRUE, because it is the only one they have.

      • For a shared project, a buyer creates a job, assigns a vendor as a provider to the job and creates an analysis with this provider. The vendor organisation then assigns a linguist as a provider for this job and creates a second analysis with this linguist (as provider). In this scenario, the buyer sees the first analysis only, with the latest_analysis as TRUE. The vendor sees the two analysis but the second analysis will have latest_analysis as TRUE, because it is the latest run.

  • The analysis_job_part_v2 and compare_analysis_job_part_v2 tables in Phrase Data now factor in shared projects and jobs between buyer and vendor. This allows users of shared content to see the analysis of either organisation even when there is no assigned provider.

Fixed Bugs
